What to do if the leaves of the peace lily droop

New potting soil

Sometimes, flower lovers have just bought a new peace lily tree or have just changed the potting soil for the peace lily tree. At this time, drooping leaves is a common phenomenon. Because at this time, the peace lily is using new pots and new soil, its leaves will droop easily.

The drooping leaves of the peace lily can be improved by watering. Place the peace lily tree in the bathroom, then water it abundantly until the soil is thoroughly watered, making sure the entire pot is moistened, and then let the water flow out from the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot. Basically after one day, the leaves of the peace lily will recover.

Environmental changes

The so-called environmental changes mainly refer to light and temperature. The peace lily needs sufficient light when it grows, but it needs shade in the summer and the temperature needs to be kept between 20℃-30℃ so that it can grow well. Therefore, when cultivating the peace lily tree, you must ensure that it has a stable environment and do not change it at will.

Overwatering

Overwatering can also cause the leaves of the peace lily to droop.

If the peace pine tree is watered too much, one consequence will be problems with the roots, which may cause the roots to rot; or there may be problems with the soil, with poor drainage, which will cause the leaves of the peace pine tree to droop.

When watering the peace lily, be careful not to water it too much. It likes moisture but cannot tolerate stagnant water. In winter, you should reduce watering and spray more often.

pH

The peace lily prefers acidic soil, but in northern regions, the soil and water are mostly alkaline, which will cause the leaves of the peace lily to droop. When watering, you can add some vinegar or ferrous sulfate to the water to keep the water acidic.
