How to grow Nine-headed Lion Grass

1. Soil

Nine-headed lion grass is more suitable for planting in cultivation soil with loose soil, good soil fertility and good drainage.

2. Temperature

It likes warm environments and can tolerate slight chill. During the winter period, breeding needs to be done in a greenhouse.

3. Lighting

It is shade-tolerant and is more suitable for growing in shaded places such as under forests and by streams. It is best to plant it in a semi-sunny or shaded area to increase its growth rate. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, and do shading in advance during the hot summer months.

4. Fertilization

Fertilizer should be applied in time according to its growth conditions. When applying fertilizer, the ratio of decomposed cake fertilizer to diluted manure should be about 1:20. The concentration should not be too high. Low-concentration compound fertilizer can also be used. Daily watering can be controlled once every 4-5 days. During the rainy season, attention should be paid to drainage to prevent root disorder and root rot.
