How to grow succulent plants Gypsophila

How to grow succulent plants Gypsophila

soil

Gypsy succulents are not very demanding on the soil. Like most succulents, they require well-drained, ventilated and breathable soil. Use special soil for succulent flowers.

Watering

Gypsy is drought-resistant and has a low water requirement. It is necessary to control the water requirement and follow the principle of not watering unless the soil is dry and watering thoroughly when watering. Avoid rain, otherwise the roots will rot easily.

temperature

In winter, it should be kept indoors to keep warm, and the indoor temperature should be maintained at around 10℃. In summer, when the temperature reaches 35℃, it should be properly shaded and ventilated to avoid exposure to the sun.

illumination

In winter, it should be placed in a place with strong light indoors for maintenance. During the growing season, pay attention to placing the flower pot in a ventilated and light-transmitting place, which is more conducive to the growth of gypsy.

Fertilization

Gypsy does not need to be fertilized in summer, but can be fertilized once a month in winter, with well-rotted thin liquid fertilizer being the best.

Pest and disease prevention

There are generally not many succulents kept at home. The best thing to do is to observe whether there are insects on the leaves. If you find red spider mites, scale insects, whiteflies, etc., just clean them up in time.
