1. Origin

Its origin is on the Mediterranean coast, and it was introduced to my country from Persia during the Tang Dynasty. The main producing areas are Xinjiang, Shandong, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Guangdong and other places. The North China region is mainly concentrated in the coastal cities of Shandong, such as Weihai, Yantai and Qingdao. Those in Jiangsu Province are in Nanjing, Danyang, Yancheng and Nantong. The one in Fujian Province is in Fuzhou. There is also a large cultivation area in the suburbs of Shanghai. The yield in Xinjiang is higher and it is widely planted.

2. Price

1. Fresh fruit: Its price is uncertain. There are many varieties, and the price varies for different varieties. Among them, the Boji Red variety from Longmen County, Huizhou, Guangdong is about 22 yuan per catty, the golden figs from Rongcheng City, Weihai, Shandong are 15 yuan per catty, and the green-skinned figs are 20 yuan per catty. Figs from Nanhai District, Foshan, Guangdong are more expensive, costing 47.4 yuan per catty. In addition, prices may vary slightly depending on the region.

2. Dried fruits: Dried fruits are quite common in our daily life. They are light yellow in color and can be used to make soup or tea. They have high edible value. The price on the market is usually 30-40 yuan per catty. However, it is also affected by the region and channel. It is usually cheaper to buy online or at farmers' markets, while it may be more expensive in supermarkets.
