Causes and treatments for yellow leaves of rubber trees

Causes and treatments for yellow leaves of rubber trees

1. Too much light

1. Reason: Rubber trees are suitable for growing in an environment with soft sunlight but no direct sunlight. If the light in the environment where it is grown is very strong, its leaves will be burned and turn yellow.

2. Treatment method: If it is convenient to move, you can directly move the plant pot to a semi-shaded place and maintain it slowly. If it is inconvenient to move it, you can set up a shade net to block the strong light and protect its leaves.

2. Excessive watering

1. Reason: If you often overwater it when growing it, the flower soil will often be in a state of water accumulation. Its roots may be waterlogged and unable to absorb water and nutrients from the soil normally, which may lead to yellow leaves.

2. Treatment method: First take the plant out of the original pot and cut off the roots that have been waterlogged. Afterwards, plant it in new flower soil that is not prone to waterlogging, and reduce watering until it recovers.

3. Too little fertilizer

1. Reason: Its growth requires certain nutritional support. If you forget to fertilize for a long time, it will cause malnutrition and yellow leaves.

2. Treatment method: Pour a small amount of diluted liquid fertilizer into the soil, and spray some low-concentration foliar fertilizer on its leaves to provide nutrition. After that, slightly increase the frequency of fertilization and wait for it to absorb nutrients and resume growth.
