1. The origin of the name of wolfsbane

The nearby residents thought that this flower was more poisonous than wild wolves, hence the name "wolfsbane flower".

Wolfsbane is common in northern China and Russia. Its rhizomes contain a considerable amount of toxins, which can be made into medicine and applied to the body to clear blood clots.
