The breeding methods and precautions of Xu Changqing

The breeding methods and precautions of Xu Changqing

1. Maintenance methods

1. Soil: Xu Changqing does not have very strict requirements on soil and can grow in general soil. Sandy soil rich in humus is most suitable for growing Xu Changqing.

2. Water: When watering, only an appropriate amount of water is needed, and not too much. If there is water stored in the pot, the roots will rot and the plant will be damaged, which will affect its normal growth.

3. Nutrients: Before breeding, the soil should be turned over and then a layer of decomposed farm manure should be evenly sprinkled on it. This can promote the absorption of nutrients and increase yields.

4. Light: It likes to grow in a sunny, mild and refreshing environment. Plenty of sunlight can make it grow stronger.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Pruning: When the seedlings are growing, the branches and leaves should be properly pruned to prevent the complex branches and leaves from affecting the absorption of nutrients during the growth period. The weak leaves should be thinned out, and the soil should be loosened and weeds should be removed to avoid it.

2. Reproduction: Seed propagation is often used, and the planting time is around March. Select mature and strong seeds and mix them with wood ash before sowing. Then sprinkle it into the soil, spray some water to keep it moist, and new seedlings will grow in about fifteen days.

3. Problem diagnosis and treatment

1. Root rot: Poor drainage will cause root rot. During the onset of root rot, the roots will turn black. Improper prevention and control will affect the growth of Xu Changqing, which can be solved by diluting and spraying root rot spirit.

2. Root rot: When the weather is hot and dry, you should add water appropriately. However, the amount of water should not be too much. When it rains, the accumulated water in the soil should be drained in time. Improper drainage will cause root rot.

IV. Other issues

1. How to harvest and store: Remove dirt and impurities during the harvest period and dry it in the sun. Then tie them into small bundles and dry them again, and finally put them in a cool and dry place.

2. Whether it can be exposed to rain: During the breeding period, it should not be washed by rain. If rainwater drips into the pot and is not drained in time, it will cause root rot, so proper shading can save a lot of trouble.
