When planting yam, it is important to ensure good temperature conditions. It can grow on ground above 10 degrees Celsius, so the time must be chosen to ensure the temperature. Too high or too low is not suitable.

The planting time is determined by the local climate. If you choose a warm place such as the south, where there is no severe cold weather, the sowing time is not fixed and there are not too many restrictions. It can be from January to May. For example, the Yangtze River Basin can choose March, and the Huaihe River region can be slightly later, controlled around late March to early April. Planting in the northern region is generally chosen in spring from March to April. In areas such as North China, it can be chosen in March. In areas such as the Northeast, because it is relatively cold, the time can be postponed to around April.

2. Precautions

If you choose to plant in a greenhouse, there will not be so many time restrictions. The surface temperature here is relatively high, so you can start planting around New Year's Day, and the harvest time will be much earlier accordingly, which will be just the right time to avoid concentrated listings, and have a more advantageous price. The specific planting time can be chosen according to personal circumstances.
