Soilless vegetable cultivation

Soilless vegetable cultivation

1. Overview

Soilless cultivation is a new technology for growing crops that has only been developed in recent years. As the name suggests, no soil is needed at this time. Crops are mainly planted in nutrient solution containing minerals. As long as they are managed and treated with certain cultivation equipment, crops can grow normally and produce high yields without soil. Therefore, it is called soilless cultivation.

2. Advantages

1. Save water, fertilizer and increase yield: The nutrients of this crop are provided by the nutrient solution used in cultivation, and the loss of water and nutrients is very small. Not only that, different nutrients are applied according to the different growth stages of the crops, so they will grow stronger and thus have a higher yield.

2. Easy to manage: No soil is required for cultivation, so there is no need to plow the land, turn the soil, or weed, which saves effort and labor. Moreover, nutrients can be replenished regularly and quantitatively without waste, thus reducing labor costs to the greatest extent.

3. Not restricted by regions: Because this cultivation method is separated from the soil, it is not restricted by soil quality, water quality and other conditions. In addition, area can be saved. It can be grown even in buildings or abandoned factories.
