Will the lily bloom again after it withers?

Will the lily bloom again after it withers?

1. Will it still bloom?

The flowering period of lilies is from July to October. After withering around the end of October, it will bloom again next year as long as it is properly cared for. It is not a plant that only blooms once, and the number of flowers may be more than the first time. However, if the treatment method is incorrect and a large amount of nutrients are consumed, it is possible that the plant will not bloom. Generally it will bloom in the next year, but some may only bloom twice a year through human intervention, but this is difficult to achieve in ordinary families.

2. How to deal with it

1. Flowers need sufficient nutrients to bloom, so after the flowers wither, a large part of the nutrients are consumed. If you want them to bloom again, you need to reduce nutrient consumption. Remove the flowers promptly after they fade, and don't leave any remaining petals on the flowers, as this will not look very beautiful. Trim the flower branches appropriately, leaving only a small part, about 20 cm.

2. Watering needs to be controlled. It cannot be done at the same frequency as before. Wait until the soil in the pot is completely dry before watering. Excessive watering is not good for the plant. Fertilizer should be applied normally, 1-2 times a month, to ensure adequate nutrients.

3. Place it in a dark and cool place and wait until next year to plant it. It will bloom if you take good care of it.
