Not too early, otherwise the grafting will fail.

2. Some of the rootstock's suckers should be removed in time, because the nutrients need to be concentrated to meet the growth of the grafted branches.

3. When the grafted branches grow a little bigger, they should be fixed with poles to prevent them from being broken by strong winds. It is also necessary to provide it with shade during the hot summer.

4. Remove weeds from the plants as early as possible and loosen the soil frequently.
