1. Color

The color of potatoes is brown, purple-brown or khaki, which are the colors we often see in our lives. However, there are some varieties that have been improved and come in many colors, such as yellow, black, purple or pink, but few people have seen such potatoes.

2. Shape

Generally speaking, the shape of potatoes is not very beautiful, and the sizes are also different. Some are oval, some are flat and round, or some are egg-shaped. The surface is very smooth, some varieties may feel a little rough, and the skin is very thin. There are usually some eyes on the potatoes, some of which are shallow and some are very deep. Its sizes vary, with a diameter of about 3-10cm.

3. Plant morphology

The primary leaves of the plant are simple leaves, and as it continues to grow, they become unequal compound leaves. The leaves are usually of varying lengths, ranging from about 10-20 cm, with petioles that are about 2.5-5 cm long. Its leaves are ovate to oblong with a slight point at the tip.
