Cultivation methods and precautions of iron plum blossom

1. Breeding methods

1. Water: It prefers a moist environment and is afraid of waterlogging. It is best to keep the soil moist in winter. During the rainy season, the amount of water should be controlled. If there is too much, pour it out in time to avoid waterlogging the plant.

2. Fertilizer: It likes fertilizer more. No fertilizer is needed during the flowering period. Apply nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers after the flowers fade. This can promote its growth. Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers are also applied during the budding period.

3. Temperature: It likes warm environment and is also cold-resistant, able to withstand the lowest temperature of -12℃. It does not need to be kept indoors over the winter, just put it in the sun.

4. Pot soil: It is best to use a ventilated flowerpot to plant iron plum, such as a clay pot or a ceramic pot. Use light clay soil, and generally change the soil every 2-3 years.

2. Precautions

It has many new branches, so you need to prune the branches and cut off the weak and dead branches.
