Cultivation methods and precautions of potted Epiphyllum

Cultivation methods and precautions of potted Epiphyllum

1. Breeding methods

1. Light: It does not require high light. You can put it on the balcony, but do not let direct sunlight hit it. Just let it receive scattered light.

2. Watering: It likes water more. Water it twice a day in the hot summer, but be careful not to water it at noon. During the dormant period, ensure that the soil moisture is at 30-50%, not too dry.

3. Fertilization: There are not too high requirements for fertilizer. Applying liquid fertilizer during the growth period can promote its flowering. It is enough to apply fertilizer once every 10 days.

4. Soil: You can use leaf mold and garden soil and mix them evenly, and then spread a layer of sand at the bottom of the flowerpot to better promote its drainage function.

2. Precautions

It is best to repot in spring, when the temperature is above 10°C, so that its survival rate will be higher.
