How to grow green radish in summer

How to grow green radish in summer

1. Adequate lighting

Pothos is a sun-loving plant and requires sufficient light to grow. It will not stop growing in the summer, so give it plenty of light, but don't let it be exposed to direct sunlight. For maintenance in the summer, you can place it on a south-facing balcony or windowsill, but be sure not to place it outdoors in strong sunlight.

2. Stay hydrated

In summer, the growth of green radish requires sufficient water. The evaporation rate is relatively large in summer, so it should be watered in time, but water must not be accumulated in the potting soil. In rainy weather, you can water less to avoid root rot. Before watering, you can look at its leaves. If they appear shriveled and wrinkled, you need to add water in time. You can also observe the moisture level of the soil. If it is still moist, you don't need to water it in a hurry.

3. Proper ventilation

When caring for green radish indoors in summer, it is necessary to maintain ventilation and the windows at home should be opened frequently for ventilation. The weather is very hot and humid in summer, and the hot and humid environment is more likely to breed bacteria, and plants are easily harmed by diseases and insects. You can't keep the windows closed and turn on the air conditioner all day. It can only grow healthier as long as it is properly ventilated while maintaining light.

4. Supplement nutrients

It is also very important to replenish nutrients in time when caring for green radish in summer. Its rapid growth cannot be separated from fertilizer. You can use fish water or rice water at home to fertilize it. If you use rice water, it is recommended to ferment it first to avoid the appearance of small insects.
