Chrysanthemum cultivation method

Chrysanthemum cultivation method

1. Soil

When growing chrysanthemums, you should use soil that is suitable for its growth. Using loose, breathable and well-drained soil is more conducive to its growth, allows the plant to better absorb nutrients, and prevents the soil from becoming hardened over a long period of time.

2. Sunlight

It likes sunlight, so it should be kept in a place with sufficient light, but not in direct sunlight. Especially in the strong light in summer, if the plants are exposed to it for a long time, they will easily be sunburned, which will affect their growth. In summer, move the plant to a place where the sun is not so strong as early as possible, or provide shade.

3. Watering

Water is critical to plant growth. The soil needs to be kept moist, but not too wet, and it cannot be left without water for a long time. When the temperature of the breeding environment is high, water should be added in time to avoid excessive drought. In addition, you should spray water in an appropriate amount to increase the humidity of the air.

4. Fertilization

The plant needs more fertilizer during the growth and flowering period, so it is necessary to apply fertilizer in time. Usually fertilizer is applied every 15 days, but the fertilizer concentration used should be lower. Fertilizer with too high concentration can easily burn the roots of the plant. It is recommended that you use diluted cake fertilizer water or chemical fertilizer.
