Cultivation methods and precautions of hydroponic copper coin grass

1. Temperature

Hydroponics of pennywort requires maintaining a suitable temperature condition for it. It likes warmth, so the surrounding temperature should be maintained between 16-24℃, so that it can always maintain a relatively good growth state and grow better.

2. Water quality

Water is the substrate for its growth, and using good water is also very beneficial to its growth. Specifically, it is recommended to use purified water because it does not contain other impurities and will not damage the plants. If tap water is not convenient to obtain, you can also use tap water, but you need to collect it in a container the day before use and leave it for a day before use. In this way, some of the gases that are harmful to the plants can evaporate.

3. Nutrient solution

Because there are relatively few nutrients in the water, it is difficult to meet the growth needs of the plants. Therefore, it is necessary to apply nutrient solution to it 2-3 times a month to supply it with nutrients. However, in winter, because it does not grow fast and requires less nutrients, the frequency of application needs to be reduced.

4. Notes

Because it grows very fast during the growing season, it can quickly fill the pot. Therefore, it is necessary to prune or divide the pots in time to prevent the leaves from blocking each other and affecting the light.
