When do grapes ripen?

When do grapes ripen?

1. Time to mature

There are many varieties of grapes now, and the time of maturity is not consistent. The earliest they can be put on the market is the end of May or the beginning of June. Those grown outdoors will gradually mature from July and last until around the end of October. If grown in a greenhouse, it can mature 2 months earlier. If planted in a greenhouse, it can mature one month earlier. Although the maturity period varies, it is generally available on the market in large quantities between September and October.

2. Grape Planting Methods

1. Time: Choose around March to April in early spring. The climate during this period is relatively suitable and very suitable for plant growth.

2. Seed selection: Select a few ripe grapes, remove their skin and flesh, and take out the seeds. Wash off the pulp and juice and store in a cool place.

3. Before sowing, cover the seeds with sand mixed with water and store the sand at a suitable temperature.

4. When the time is right, sow the seeds evenly in the soil.

3. Notes

If you use seeds for planting, the quality and disease resistance may change, so when planting, you can directly purchase grape seedlings for planting.
