Jasmine cultivation methods and precautions

Jasmine cultivation methods and precautions

1. Watering

Jasmine likes moist growing conditions, so you can water it a little more when growing it, but do not let water accumulate in the pot. When it rains, it is best to move it indoors to avoid the rain. If it is a light rain, you can let it get wet, but if it is a heavy rain, you must not let it get wet, because this will cause its buds to fall.

2. Fertilization

It likes fertilizer very much, especially when it grows faster, it must not lack fertilizer, otherwise it will not be able to grow normally. Therefore, during the summer growing season, it is necessary to apply flower fertilizer twice a month to help it grow. In addition, before it blooms, it is best to apply phosphorus fertilizer several times to encourage it to produce more buds and more flowers.

3. Flower soil

It likes soil with a relatively high organic matter content because it is more fertile and can provide it with the nutrients it needs for growth. It likes soil with good air permeability because it is loose inside, which is conducive to root growth. It also likes soil with good drainage because it is not easy for water to accumulate and cause damage to its root system. Therefore, you can mix two parts of garden soil, two parts of leaf mold and one part of fine sand evenly as its culture soil.

IV. Precautions

Because it grows quickly, it can easily become messy. At this time, it is necessary to prune it in time to keep it in a good plant shape.
