Is Begonia easy to grow?

Is Begonia easy to grow?

1. Moisture

When caring for crabapples, you can water the plants once every two days or so, and be sure to control the amount of watering. Do not water too much, otherwise water will accumulate at the bottom of the pot. In severe cases, the roots will rot, affecting the growth and development of the plants. Be sure to water according to the conditions of the soil and follow the principle of watering when the soil is dry and wet.

2. Nutrients

When growing crabapples, you must pay attention to the flowers' consumption of nutrients and apply nitrogen fertilizer to the plants in a timely manner to replenish the nutrients needed for the growth of crabapples. Generally, nitrogen fertilizer needs to be applied 3 to 4 times a month during its growing period to ensure the normal growth of branches and leaves. Phosphorus fertilizer can be applied once from March to May each year so that it can bloom more flowers. In summer and winter, its growth rate is relatively slow, so fertilization should be stopped at this time to avoid fertilizer damage.

3. Temperature

Begonia prefers a refreshing environment, and the suitable temperature for its growth is between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. Begonia is not resistant to high temperatures. If the temperature exceeds 30 degrees Celsius, the stems and leaves of the Begonia will wither, and the buds will fall off. When the temperature reaches above 35 degrees Celsius, the tubers above the ground and underground will rot. Therefore, when caring for the Begonia, be sure to give it an appropriate temperature.

4. Lighting

Begonia prefers sunlight, so it should be placed in a sunny place during its growth period. However, since the light in summer is relatively strong, appropriate measures must be taken to protect it during this period, otherwise the leaves will be sunburned.
