The difference between taro and money tree

1. Difference

Money tree is also called the money tree. They are the same plant. It is a perennial herb and a relatively rare foliage plant with underground tubers. It is native to some tropical savanna climate zones in Africa with less rainfall.

2. Morphological characteristics

The above-ground part of the Money Tree has no main stem. The plant is 50 to 80 cm tall, with thick tuberous stems underground that are about 5 to 8 cm in diameter. Its adventitious buds sprout from the tubers to form large compound leaves. The leaflets are fleshy and have short petioles. The hard part at the bottom is the tuber. The base of the petiole will swell and become lignified. Its pinnate compound leaves will grow from the top of the stem. The leaves are oval in shape, green in color, and have a metallic luster.
