The difference between Buddha lotus and Guanyin lotus

1. Difference

The Buddha's Throat Lotus and the Alocasia odora are actually the same plant, a succulent plant of the genus Sedum in the Crassulaceae family. It is native to some mountainous areas in European countries such as Spain, France, and Italy, and is an alpine succulent plant.

2. Morphological characteristics

The leaves of the Alocasia odora are arranged in a rosette shape, and its shape is very dignified, just like a blooming lotus. Its leaves are flat and slender, gradually becoming pointed at the front end and covered with fine hairs on the edges. Under sufficient sunlight, the front end of the leaves will form a very beautiful brown or purple-red color, but if the light is not sufficient, the leaves will only be dark green. The diameter of its leaf disk ranges from 3 cm to 15 cm, and every spring red runners similar to those of spider plants grow from the lower part of the leaves.
