When does canna bloom?

When does canna bloom?

1. Flowering period

The flowering period of canna is relatively long, lasting from March to December, and the seasons are concentrated in summer and autumn. The weather in the north is relatively cold, and the flowers bloom from June to October, while the temperature in the south is warmer, and they usually bloom all year round.

Canna flowers come in a wide variety of colors, including white, orange, bright red and yellow, etc. Some large flowers have many spots.

2. Ways to prolong the flowering period

If you want canna to bloom for a longer period of time, you can remove the stems and leaves on the ground in November, take out the rhizomes and place them in a cool place for 2 to 3 days, then put them in the sand, and plant them when it is slightly warmer the following year. This way, the flowers will bloom continuously.
