How to Identify Cat's Eye Grass

1. Stem

Cat's eye grass can grow to about 40cm, the stems are generally branched, and the base is very hard.

2. Leaves

The leaves at the bottom of cat's eye grass are scaly and fall off relatively early. The leaves in the middle and above are narrow lanceolate, about 2-5cm long and 2-3mm wide.

3. Flowers

The flowers of cat's eye grass are yellow-brown, and the flowering period is between April and June. The bracts are cup-shaped and hairless.
