Can the colorful ivy be rooted in water?

Can the colorful ivy be rooted in water?

1. Can it take root?

The colorful ivy can take root when grown in water, usually in 20 to 30 days. When hydroponically growing plants, the water should generally be changed every 5 to 7 days.

2. Hydroponic Method

When preparing for hydroponics, you must first cut a branch. The length of the branch is generally 10 to 15 cm. Trim the cut branch, keep the upper leaves of the branch, cut off the lower leaves, and then put the branch in a container with water prepared in advance. When putting it in the water, be careful to soak the roots 1.5 to 3 cm in water. It is best to use a foam board to fix it. Make a small hole in the foam board, insert the branch in, and place it in the water.

3. Notes

It is best to use purified water for hydroponics, and the container used is generally a waterproof transparent container.
