The difference between Spiraea hemp leaf and Spiraea golden flame

1. Difference of blades

The leaves of Spiraea hemp-leaved are rhombus-lanceolate to rhombus-oblong, about 3-5 cm long and 1.5-2 cm wide, with an acute tip, a cuneate base, and serrated edges above the middle. They are dark green on the upper side and gray-blue on the lower side. The leaves of Spiraea rudbeckia are single and alternate, which are smaller than the former, about 0.8-3 cm long and 0.5-1.6 cm wide, with sharp serrations on the edges and pinnate veins. The leaves are green in summer, yellow and red in spring, and purple-red in autumn.

2. The difference between flowers

Spiraea hemp-leaved has umbel inflorescence, the flowers are white, and the petals are nearly round or obovate. The flowers of Spiraea rudbeckia are rose red in color, with larger inflorescences and round petals.
