The difference between red horse hoof grass and money grass

The difference between red horse hoof grass and money grass

1. Difference of blades

The leaves of red horse hoof grass are round or kidney-shaped, about 2-5 cm long and 3.5-9 cm wide. The edges usually have 5-7 shallow cracks, the lobes are serrated, and the base is heart-shaped. The leaves of the herb are ovate and then reniform, with a blunt tip and then rounded, and a truncated base and then shallowly cordate.

2. The difference between flowers

Red horse hoof grass has umbel inflorescences that grow in clusters in the leaf axils at the end of the stem. The petals are oval, white or milky white, and sometimes have purple-red spots. The money plant grows alone in the leaf axils. The calyx has 5 deep lobes, which are oblong-lanceolate and yellow or purple-red in color.
