A 68-year-old grandfather spent 10,000 yuan to build the most beautiful private garden, and foreigners came to visit!

In 2002, Zhang Taipei learned from a friend that

There is an abandoned nursery for rent in the mountains.

He couldn't wait to run over to take a look.

Dilapidated houses, weeds all over the ground, and such a remote location...

No one expected that

Zhang Taipei immediately signed a 50-year lease after reading it.

Friends are puzzled: What’s so good about this place?

There are weeds everywhere, and the chicken and sheep droppings are smelly...

Zhang Taipei was very happy. Isn't this natural flower fertilizer?

No matter what you grow in this land, flowers will flourish!

There are three hundred-year-old trees in the abandoned yard.

Zhang Taipei named his future garden "Three Trees".

I guess in his mind at that time,

You have already thought about what the garden will look like.

As soon as the contract was signed, Zhang Taipei plunged into the mountains.

Building a garden is like a "metamorphosis".

Architect, designer, gardener...

Zhang did it all by himself.

I don’t know how many times I ran back and forth on the mountain road.

Money is like a bottomless pit once it is spent, so Mr. Zhang saves as much as he can.

Most of the materials in the garden are recycled waste.

The stones and waste bricks collected from everywhere,

Part of it is used to pave the road.

A small waterfall was built using mountain springs.

Bricks removed from the old house,

An arch wall was built with ivy, which is very unique.

The largest and most blooming bougainvillea in the garden,

Mr. Zhang has been raising it for 16 years.

There is also a little story in this:

Sixteen years ago, Zhang Taipei went to Yunnan to collect folk songs. On the outer wall of the staff dormitory where he stayed, there were several bougainvillea trees, and their red flowers illuminated half the sky. After seeing the flowers, Lao Zhang felt itchy and immediately ran to the Yunnan Flower Market and bought four seedlings for 30 yuan. On the way home, colleagues all bought delicious and fun Yunnan specialties, but Zhang Taipei was the only one holding four pots of flowers... and took care of them all the way back to his hometown in Anhui.

Now these bougainvillea trees,

It really makes Lao Zhang proud.

Not only is it large, but it also has an astonishing number of flowers.

Because it grew so fast, it has been moved 3 or 4 times.

Even the smallest one grew into the shape of a firework.

Huahua really thinks that Lao Zhang’s 30 yuan is worth it!

In addition to bougainvillea, the popular roses are also a highlight this year.

Compared with the dazzling foreign varieties,

Lao Zhang recommends roses and domestic roses: they are hardy and have many flowers.

All the chicken droppings, fertilizers and dead leaves have been transformed into nutrients.

No wonder it "climbs up the wall and peels off the tiles" as soon as it blooms~

In the corner of the yard, flowers are blooming in all colors.

They are all small grass flowers that come alive when scattered, bright and colorful.

It can be seen that Lao Zhang is a careful person.

Every corner of the garden is a beautiful view~

Lao Zhang said that this garden is just like a person.

You should wash and dress regularly, and not be unkempt.

We can't just do superficial work, we have to do it in big and small ways.

This is called perfection~

In addition to the gorgeous flowers,

Green leaves are also what Lao Zhang likes.

Hostas by the stream, bamboo forest behind the house

They are all the original "natives", so don't worry about it, the scenery is beautiful!

The banana trees were transplanted from a nearby villager.

The creeper at the back grew naturally.

This is the advantage of being in the mountains~

Lao Zhang's garden not only has flowers and plants,

There are also some cute little animals.

Black swan, peacock, pony...

This beautiful peacock,

I strolled on the lawn that Lao Zhang carefully cared for.

Lao Zhang was all smiles when he said this.

In winter, when it snowed, the peacock was frightened and flew to the tree and stayed there for several days.

He even refused to come down to eat.

no way,

Lao Zhang had to use a bamboo stick to lift the food up the tree to feed them.

Lao Zhang has been busy in the garden for nearly ten years.

In 2011, it was selected by the well-known American magazine "Beautiful Homes and Gardens".

Rated as "the most beautiful private garden in China".

It has become famous, and many people from home and abroad come here to visit.

Now Mr. Zhang is worried...

People come and go in the flowers, what if the flowers and plants are hurt?

I can't even say I feel sad~

But seeing the flower lover standing outside the door,

Old Zhang couldn't bear it either.

Tangled and tangled again,

Lao Zhang decided to open the door.

Let’s enjoy the beautiful scenery of “Three Trees Manor” with everyone!

Speaking of open gardens,

Many flower growers can’t do this.

Mr. Zhang, who is now in his seventies, was deeply moved:

Don’t pursue perfection too much when growing flowers.

Flowers bloom and fall, all are beautiful,

It's even better if someone appreciates it~

Lao Zhang not only let go of the burden in his heart,

There are also many new things in the park for tourists:

A flower gallery full of flowers,

Under such flowers, you will never get tired of walking there no matter how many times you walk~

A fountain was installed in the peaceful little pond.

Refreshing and fun.

Walking in Zhang Taipei's Three Trees Manor,

What a wonderful enjoyment it would be.

May everyone in this life,

There are flowers to grow and flowers to appreciate.

Never give up hope in life.

Looking back on life, I can repay it with blooming flowers.
