The difference between Golden Mango and Guifei Mango

1. The difference in size

The average weight of a Golden Mango is around 915 to 1200 grams, and the largest can weigh up to 2400 grams. The Guifei mango is relatively much smaller, averaging 300 to 500 grams, with larger ones weighing 500 to 600 grams and smaller ones weighing only 150 grams, so there is a clear difference in size.

2. Difference in fruit color

The Golden Mango is green when not fully ripe. When ripe, the skin turns orange-yellow and the flesh is also orange-yellow. The ripening period is from June to July every year. The Guifei mango is purple-red when not fully ripe. When ripe, the base color changes to dark yellow and is covered with a layer of bright red. The skin looks very attractive. The fruiting period is similar to that of the Golden Mango, which is around late June to early July every year.
