The difference between calla lily and arrowroot

1. Leaf Difference

The leaves of calla lily are green or dirty green. There are many of them, arranged in a spiral shape. The leaves are thick and can reach up to 1.5 meters long.

The leaves of arrowroot are green, ovate or ovate-lanceolate, relatively thin, 10 to 20 cm long and 4 to 10 cm wide.

2. Flower Differences

The inflorescence of calla lily is fragrant. The female inflorescence is white and 2 to 4 cm long. The sterile male inflorescence is greenish white and 5 to 6 cm long. The fertile male inflorescence is light yellow and 3 to 7 cm long.

The inflorescence of the arrowroot is terminal, 15 to 20 cm long, and the flowers are small and white.

3. Fruit Difference

The berries of the calla lily are red, oval, 8 to 10 mm long and 5 to 8 mm thick.

The fruit of the arrowroot is oblong and about 7 mm long.
