How to breed hybrid azalea

How to breed hybrid azalea

1. Soil

Hybrid azalea prefers fertile, loose, slightly acidic sandy loam. Be careful not to use soil that is too sticky or alkaline, otherwise it will be difficult for it to survive.

2. Lighting

Hybrid azalea likes light and needs to be given sufficient light on a normal basis. It also has a certain degree of shade tolerance and can be placed in a shady place for a short period of time, but not for too long.

3. Moisture

Hybrid azalea likes moisture but is afraid of waterlogging. You must control the degree of watering. You cannot water too much to cause water accumulation in the soil, nor can you water too little to cause the plant to lack water.

4. Temperature

Hybrid azalea likes warmth, and the best growth temperature is 15-25℃. In winter, insulation measures need to be taken and the temperature cannot be lower than 5℃.
