1. Pansy

Viola is a perennial herb with short flower stems, bisexual flowers, a flower diameter of 2.5-4.0 cm, and an oval capsule fruit. The suitable temperature for its growth is 10-15℃. It is relatively cold-resistant and has difficulty growing in high temperatures.

2. Pansy

Pansy is a perennial herb, generally used as a biennial green plant, often planted in parks, flower beds, etc. Its flowers are larger, about 3.5-6 cm in diameter, and its capsules are oval, 8-12 mm long. The suitable temperature for its growth is 15-25℃. It is relatively cold-resistant and its roots can withstand temperatures as low as -15℃.

3. Difference

Both pansies and violas belong to the Violaceae family and are very similar in appearance, but there are also some differences.

①Flower size: Pansy 2-4cm, Pansy 3-6cm.

② Flower shape: The pansy has dark dots in the center of the flower, and the flower shape is more round, while the pansy only has black straight lines like beards, and the flower shape is longer.

③ Cold resistance: Pansy can tolerate extreme temperatures better than Pansy triangle, and is more heat-resistant and cold-resistant.
