Buddha's hand ginkgo

It is called ginkgo nut, weighing about 3 grams. The seed is in the shape of an inverted egg, the core is narrow and pointed, and the kernel tastes sweet.

Ginkgo biloba

That is, round ginkgo, weighing about 2 grams, the seed shape is round or nearly heart-shaped, the top of the seed is slightly concave, the core is oval or broadly elliptical, slightly flat, and the seed kernel has a bitter taste. This variety has the advantage of being more resistant to drought and flood.

Ginkgo

It is an intermediate type, that is, the shape and quality of this type of variety are between the above two categories. It is a cultivated variety and its origin is Zhuji, Zhejiang. The seeds are rectangular in shape, with a blunt apex and a raised tip, and a flat and wide base. The core is enlarged and oval in shape, with a blunt tip and a wide and round base. There are ridges above the middle, and the wings are not obvious.
