How to grow mango tree in pot

1. Soil

When growing mango trees in pots, you need to use soil with good drainage and air permeability. Do not use soil that is too sticky or too fertile, as this will cause the plants to grow too vigorously and not bear fruit.

2. Watering

It is drought tolerant, so it doesn’t require much watering. Especially during the period of flower bud differentiation, it is necessary to ensure that the soil and growing environment are dry. Sufficient water should be ensured during the growth period. If there is too little water, its growth will be affected.

3. Lighting

Mango tree potted plants like sunlight and should be placed in a place with sufficient light. It cannot be kept in a dark growing environment for a long time. If it does not receive light for a long time, it will greatly affect the results. Even if it bears fruit, it will likely be very small.

4. Temperature

During its growth stage, it should be kept in an environment of 18-35℃. It is best to control the temperature at around 19-24℃ during the fruiting period. It is not cold-resistant, so the temperature should not be too low.
