Cultivation methods and precautions of Primrose

Cultivation methods and precautions of Primrose

1. Soil

When growing Primrose, you should use loose, well-drained soil, which can be prepared with leaf mold, garden soil and river sand.

2. Watering

Water appropriately during the growing period, do not overwater. The soil in the pot should be slightly moist but on the dry side, and there must be no accumulation of water. If the leaves wilt due to lack of water for a long time, spray water first and then water, and do not water too much at one time.

3. Temperature

The growing environment of Hubei Primrose should be 12-22℃, and the temperature should be kept at 5-10℃ at night. If the temperature is too high, the plant growth will slow down. It is best to move it indoors for maintenance in winter, and the minimum temperature should not be lower than 5℃.

4. Fertilization

When fertilizing it, do not use concentrated fertilizers, but mainly use phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. It can be applied once a week during its vigorous growth period. When applying fertilizer, be careful not to splash it onto the leaves. If it splashes, wash it off with clean water as soon as possible.

5. Notes

Primrose cannot tolerate high temperatures and cannot be exposed to direct sunlight. Pay special attention to maintenance in summer and give it suitable temperature and light. To prevent the leaves from being burned by excessive light.
