Breeding methods and precautions for Yachiyo

Breeding methods and precautions for Yachiyo

1. Soil

Hachiyo is suitable for growing in loose, breathable and well-drained sandy soil, which helps to drain accumulated water and is more conducive to its growth.

2. Water

The water content of Hachiyo is very high, so there is no need to water it too much. If the soil is too moist, its roots will easily rot. Too much rain can easily cause water accumulation, so drainage measures must be taken. You can water the plants about once every 10 days, and make sure to water them thoroughly.

3. Lighting

It is necessary to ensure sufficient light. If there is sufficient sunlight, its leaves will be brighter. If there is insufficient light, the leaf color will become duller and the distance between the leaves will become sparser. Long-term lack of light may cause it to die.

4. Temperature

When the temperature is higher than 35℃ or lower than 5℃, it will enter a dormant period and stop growing. At this time, you should reduce watering or stop watering. When the temperature is higher in summer, you should increase ventilation.

5. Notes

1. During normal maintenance, timely pruning should be carried out to cut off old and dead leaves to avoid bacterial growth. Timely pruning can also keep the shape of the plant more beautiful.

2. In summer, it is best to place potted plants in a well-ventilated location to avoid a stuffy environment where the moisture is difficult to evaporate, causing root rot. Poor ventilation can easily lead to pests and diseases, so be sure to place it in a ventilated place.
