The cultivation methods and precautions of mugwort

The cultivation methods and precautions of mugwort

1. Soil

Mugwort has a strong ability to adapt to soil, but if you want it to grow better, it is best to use fertile and well-permeable soil.

2. Watering

Normally, make sure the soil is slightly moist, and water in moderation, not too much or too little, and do not water too frequently. If you can't grasp the watering time, you can look at the soil before watering. If it is very dry, water it in time. If it is in a moist state, there is no need to water it again.

3. Lighting

To grow mugwort, you need to ensure sufficient light, which is more conducive to its growth. However, when growing it at home, you should take appropriate shading measures when the sun is strong in summer, and do not expose it to the sun for a long time.

4. Fertilization

Before sowing, base fertilizer should be applied, and fertilizer should be applied every time the crops are harvested. Top dressing can be done in moderation, preferably with well-rotted human and animal manure. You can also apply some phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer appropriately.

5. Notes

1. Pest control: Common pests of mugwort are generally aphids, scale insects and red spiders. Once pests appear, it will affect its growth and cause damage to the branches and leaves. After discovery, they must be captured in time or sprayed with pesticides for prevention and control.

2. Reproduction: Mugwort can be propagated by rhizomes and seeds. It is best to apply sufficient base fertilizer before sowing. Do not allow water to accumulate when watering to avoid causing diseases.
