Huang Xueguang's breeding methods and precautions

Huang Xueguang's breeding methods and precautions

1. Soil selection

Growing healthy plants is not difficult. It's actually very easy as long as you take good care of it. Maintenance conditions are critical, and the most basic and important thing is to choose soil suitable for plant growth. Huang Xueguang likes nutrient-rich soil, so leaf mold is an excellent choice. This kind of flower soil not only has good drainage, but also is rich in humus, which is perfect for cultivating the succulent Huang Xueguang. In addition to this kind of flower soil, an appropriate amount of coarse sand plus peat soil is also a good choice!

2. Lighting

The cactus of Huang Xueguan prefers a relatively warm and well-lit growing environment. It is an extremely light-resistant plant. Except for the occasional shade required in the scorching summer, it can enjoy sunshine all day long at other times. If it lacks light for a long time, it will become sluggish, the flower color will deteriorate, the thorns will not be strong, and it may even fail to bloom. It can be seen that light is very important for it, so remember to maintain sufficient light!

3. Water and fertilizer management

As a member of the Cactaceae family, I believe many flower lovers have already guessed that Huang Xueguang is a very drought-resistant succulent. Therefore, when watering, be careful not to water it excessively or too frequently. You can water it moderately during the growing period, preferably in small amounts at a time, and never allow water to accumulate. Huang Xueguang also does not require a lot of flower fertilizer. Just applying fertilizer three to four times a year is enough to satisfy its growth. Isn’t it very convenient? In addition, it should be noted that the best time to apply fertilizer is spring and autumn. These two seasons are the periods of rapid growth of yellow snow glomerate. This just meets the needs, helps it grow better and promotes flowering.

4. Special Reminder

When caring for the plant indoors in winter, special attention should be paid to keeping the soil dry. This will not only prevent various diseases, but also allow the plant to develop better in the second year.
