1. Flowering periodIt starts to bloom around March or April every year. But some places are earlier, some places are later. The flowering time will vary from year to year. Generally, rapeseed flowers begin to bloom three months after planting. Its flowering period is about thirty days. There are many factors that affect the timing of flowering. The first is the temperature factor. The faster the temperature rises, the earlier it will bloom. Generally, it will start to bloom as early as the end of February, and it will bloom most vigorously in mid-March. It will wither around the end of March to before Qingming Festival. But if there is continued low temperatures in the spring, the rapeseed flowers may not bloom until mid-March. 2. Flowering time in different regions1. Latitude and longitude factorsRapeseed is widely distributed in my country, so according to the different planting areas, latitudes, and differences in land and sea locations, rapeseed is divided into two major regions: spring rapeseed and winter rapeseed. Therefore, during the flowering period, which generally lasts from the end of December each year to the end of April of the following year, rape flowers can be seen in different places. In southern Taiwan, you can see the blooming of the jasmine flower in late December, and the flowering period will be earlier during warm winters. From January to February, rapeseed flowers mainly bloom in Yunnan, Guangdong and Guangxi. In March and April, the Sichuan Basin and areas north of Wuyi Mountain enter the flowering period. 2. Vertical height factorThe altitude also has different degrees of influence on its flowering. This factor is particularly evident in the western region of our country, where the river valleys are full of flowers, which enter their flowering period in July and August. However, due to the existence of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the situation has changed. The north should have been cold and the south warm, but it has become hot in the north and cold in the south. Therefore, the flowers in the Junggar Basin bloom in June, while the flowers in Tibet and Qinghai only bloom in July and August. |
