How to grow Op succulents and turn them into multiple heads? Op maintenance methods and precautions

Op succulent is a common succulent plant. The edges and tips of its leaves tend to turn red. The leaves are large and very beautiful, with a sense of shyness like an ancient beauty. It is relatively easy to grow and is loved by many flower lovers.

Opp succulent farming

1. Soil

Opp succulents like loose, fertile, breathable and well-drained soil. You can choose peat soil, garden soil, and granular soil, mix them evenly in a ratio of 6:2:2 as the culture soil, or go to the market to buy special nutrient soil for growing succulents.

2. Lighting

Op succulent likes sunlight, but cannot accept direct sunlight. It can accept sunlight in spring and autumn, and ensure 6-8 hours of light a day. Lack of light will slow the growth of the plant. When the temperature is high in summer, it is best to move it to a semi-shaded place. When the temperature is cold in winter, it can be moved outdoors at noon to receive light.

3. Watering

Op succulent is relatively drought-resistant. In spring and autumn, you can water it every 4-5 days, or wait until the soil is completely dry before watering. In summer and winter, you should control the amount of water. Water it when the soil is dry, and do not water it until it is not dry. It is better to be dry than wet. If you water it too much, move it to a well-ventilated place to speed up the evaporation of water.

4. Temperature

The most suitable growth temperature for Op succulent is 10-25℃. When the temperature exceeds 35℃, the growth of the plant is restricted. You can use a spray bottle to spray water on the leaves and surrounding areas of the plant to cool it down. When the temperature is below 5℃ in winter, the plant grows slowly and enters a dormant period. At this time, it should be moved to a warm place indoors for maintenance to avoid frostbite.

Opp Maintenance Precautions

During its growth process, Opu succulents are prone to pests such as scale insects, red spiders, and whiteflies. Use a brush to remove the pests, then spray the plants with imidacloprid and cypermethrin. Also, place the succulents in a ventilated environment to maintain air circulation.
