Cultivation methods and precautions of ground melon

Cultivation methods and precautions of ground melon

1. Growth habits

First of all, it has strong drought resistance and requires very little water, and only a small amount of watering is needed to maintain life activities. However, sunlight has a good promoting effect on its survival and development.

In addition, soil suitable for its growth is of great significance to it, which we will introduce in detail later.

Also, its temperature requirements are not too high. Generally, adjusting the temperature to 20℃~28℃ is sufficient for its growth.

2. Factor Management

1. Water: In terms of distribution area, it is mainly distributed in many provinces in northern my country, and these areas are relatively short of water. It can grow in a relatively water-scarce environment, which shows that it has a very strong drought resistance. Therefore, apart from watering during the vigorous growth period, you basically don't need to worry too much about water at other times.

2. Light: We all know that the Northwest region has little precipitation, so the sunshine time is correspondingly longer, which can provide plants with sufficient sunlight. So what we need to do is not give the plant too much shade so that it can enjoy the sunlight better.

3. Soil: The main suitable soil for this plant is sandy or gravelly soil. It is mainly distributed in arid valleys, sand dunes and other places because the soil in these places is often sandy or gravelly.

4. Temperature: This factor mainly applies to the breeding period. This plant is generally propagated by cuttings and other methods, and has certain temperature requirements. It is best to keep it at around 25℃, which will be conducive to its survival.

5. Fertilizer: This factor is mainly for the breeding period. Applying some organic fertilizer during this period can help the young plants survive better.

3. Notes

Note that for this plant, diffuse light is the most suitable. Although sufficient light is good, it should not be too strong, especially not exposed to the sun for a long time.
