Breeding methods and precautions of high snow wheel

soil

The tall snow wheel likes loose, fertile, easy-to-drain sandy soil. If it is planted in the open field, be careful to keep a certain distance between the plants to ensure their growth space.

temperature

The snow wheel is not heat-resistant or cold-resistant, and prefers a warm climate. 15-25℃ is the most suitable. It needs to be moved to a relatively cool place during the high temperature in summer, and moved to a warm indoor place for cultivation in winter. Note that the temperature cannot be lower than 4℃, otherwise the plant will go dormant or die.

illumination

The tall snow wheel likes light, and sufficient sunlight must be ensured during the cultivation process. If it is placed in a cool and dark place for a long time, it will affect its healthy growth. However, new seedlings should be properly shaded and not exposed to direct sunlight, otherwise the leaves will easily wither. In addition, in the summer when the temperature is high, direct sunlight should be avoided. If the leaves are exposed to strong direct sunlight, they will turn yellow and degenerate, affecting their growth rate. In severe cases, the plants will enter dormancy prematurely.

Moisture

The high snow wheel has relatively high requirements for humidity. The air should be kept moist at ordinary times. If the air is too dry, the flowering period will be shortened and the flowers will wither prematurely. However, the leaves must be kept dry at night. Be careful to keep the soil moist, but avoid water accumulation in the pot. Too much water can easily cause root rot or even death. When watering, do not pour water directly on the plants and flowers, and do not let them be directly exposed to rain, otherwise it will seriously affect the growth of the plants.

fertilizer

Gaoxuelun likes fertilizer. Fertilizer should be applied immediately after pinching, and once a month or so. When applying fertilizer, pay attention to applying fertilizer frequently and in thin amounts, and do not apply heavy fertilizer at one time. After fertilizing, special attention should be paid to ensuring the dryness of the branches, leaves and petals at night, and reasonable maintenance should be carried out.

prune

After the seedlings of the tall snow wheel survive, they should be topped off to promote more branches and sprouts, which is beneficial for increasing branching and flowering. If the tops are not pinched in time, the plants will grow too tall and fall over, and if they fall over, they will need to be supported. Every month, some old branches and dead leaves should be properly pruned, and pinching should be done again before the flowering season arrives. This can increase the number of divisions and promote the improvement of the quantity and quality of flowers.
