Can I water the flowers?

Beer is also known as liquid bread and can be used to water flowers. Beer contains a large amount of carbon dioxide, which can promote the metabolism of various flowers. The sugar, protein, amino acids and other nutrients contained in beer are very beneficial to the growth of flowers.

How to water flowers

1. Watering the flowers. Mix beer and water in a ratio of 1:50 and then water the flowers. The appropriate amount can make the flowers grow vigorously. Not only do they get sufficient nutrients, but they also absorb them very quickly.

2. Spray the leaves. Mix water and beer in a ratio of 1:10 and spray it on the leaves.

3. Wipe the leaves with beer. This method can be used for foliage flowers and trees. Dip a clean soft cloth or cotton ball in beer and gently wipe the leaves. The leaves have a direct absorption effect on nutrients, which can make the leaves greener and more lustrous, and the texture becomes thicker.

4. Used for flower arrangement. Pouring 1/10 of beer into the vase of flower arrangements can make the colors of the flowers brighter and keep them fresh longer.

Applicable flowers

Most potted flowers can be watered with beer, such as orchids, green radish, Brazilian ironwood, monstera, Clivia, variegated dieffenbachia and other foliage flowers. It is also suitable for asparagus fern, umbrella bamboo, crabapple, spider plant, jasmine and other flowers and trees.
