It is more appropriate to plant beans in spring. The specific planting time is related to the local climate. If it is in North China, it is usually planted in mid-April, so that after the seedlings emerge, the last frost period will have passed. If it is sown in the south, it is generally carried out in February and March.

How to plant beans in spring

1. Site selection: Green beans do not have very high requirements for soil, and their growth ability is relatively high. However, they should be planted in fertile, well-drained soil as much as possible. Before planting, the soil needs to be deeply plowed and sufficient base fertilizer should be applied.

2. Soaking seeds: When planting beans, you need to use plump, healthy, and disease-free seeds. Then you need to blanch them in hot water, then put them in cold water to cool them down. Keep the water temperature between 25-30 degrees and soak them for 4 hours.

3. Sowing: When sowing beans, you can use the hole sowing method. Put 3-5 seeds in each hole, cover with a layer of soil, and water appropriately to keep the soil moist.

Things to note when planting beans in spring

1. After the bean seedlings grow out, they need to be thinned out according to their growth. Generally, this is done when the seedlings grow to 5-6 cm, so that they can grow in an even manner.

2. During the growth period of the bean seedlings, they need to be watered in time and the soil should be kept moist and not dry, otherwise it will affect the growth.
