1. Lighting

The Cross Star Plant prefers a sunny, cool and dry place, so we must give it enough sunlight. If there is not enough sunlight, it will easily grow taller, and the distance between the leaves will be too long, which will make it look particularly ugly. The red color of the leaf edges will gradually fade, and the leaf stalks will become particularly tender. But if it is given enough sunlight, it will be different. At this time, its plant will be short and strong, and the arrangement between the nodes will be very tight. So it seems that the impact of light on it is still very large.

2. Soil

Generally, succulent plants prefer soil with good drainage and air permeability, so the same is true for the Cross Star Brocade. Therefore, we must be careful when choosing the soil. We need to find some peat soil and mix it with a little perlite and cinders, and then put some small stones on the surface of the soil. This will allow the soil to breathe better and prevent water accumulation.

3. Watering

Generally, we can water it normally when the temperature is more suitable, but if the temperature is high in summer, we must control the amount of watering. Too much watering is not good, as it will easily cause water accumulation and cause its roots to rot. In winter, you can completely cut off the water supply, especially when the temperature is below 5 degrees, you can slowly cut it off.

4. Proper pruning

During its growth process, it will be easier for it to grow a lot of messy branches. At this time, we need to carry out appropriate pruning and cut off those messy branches. In this way, we can maintain its beautiful shape of the plant and make it look more beautiful, so appropriate pruning is also very good.
