How to grow four-season chrysanthemum

How to grow four-season chrysanthemum

1. Breeding methods

1. Flower soil: To grow four-season chrysanthemums, you need to use flower soil that is soft, well-drained and fertile. If conditions permit, it is recommended to mix six parts of leaf mold, three parts of sandy loam and one part of base fertilizer to make its flower soil.

2. Temperature: It has good adaptability to temperature and can grow normally in an environment between 15-35℃. However, in winter, in order to prevent it from freezing, it is best to keep the surrounding temperature above 10℃.

3. Watering: It needs sufficient water support to grow normally. So in spring and autumn, you need to water it every 2-5 days to help it grow. In summer, water it once a day to prevent it from lacking water.

4. Fertilization: Top dressing is required during the growing period and before flowering. During the growing season, manure fertilizer should be applied once a month to help it grow. Before it blooms, you need to apply fertilizer with a high phosphorus content 2-3 times to help it bloom.

2. Precautions

1. When maintaining it, provide more ventilation. It is best to place it near the window, which will allow it to grow better and reduce the chance of it getting insects.

2. If it becomes diseased during cultivation, you need to cut off the diseased leaves in time, then put it in a ventilated place, and spray some fungicide for treatment.
