Precautions for watering green radish

Precautions for watering green radish

How to judge whether to water

To know when to water the green ivy, you need to make a good judgment.

You can insert a small wooden stick into the soil and take it out after a few minutes. If you find that the stick is not moist, then you need to water it. If you find that the wooden stick is still wet, don't rush to water it.

The second thing is to check the dryness and wetness of the soil. If the surface soil is dry, then you also need to look at the soil inside. If the soil inside is also mostly dry, then you need to water it. Otherwise, if it is only a little dry, there is no need to water it.

Also, you should look at the leaves. If they seem to be wilting, then they are lacking water.

Precautions

Pay attention to choosing the appropriate frequency for watering the green radish. Don’t water it all the time, and don’t go without watering for a long time. Otherwise, the green radish will easily become too dry or too wet, and its leaves will easily turn yellow and its roots will rot.

When watering, you should pay attention to the permeability of the soil. Generally, soil with good permeability will be watered more evenly. Otherwise, when watering, you may water it lightly and think it is enough, but in fact some places are not watered. You may think you have watered it sufficiently, but in fact it is not watered thoroughly. This is very bad for the plants.

Also, please note that when watering the green ivy, be careful not to do it at noon when the temperature is very high. It is generally better to water it in the evening or morning, and the water temperature should not be too different from the indoor temperature, as this will easily cause adverse stimulation to the plant.
