Pests

The main hazards are borers and red spiders. Borers damage young branches and can be killed by spraying with imidacloprid, long-lasting phosphorus and other sprays during the egg-laying period of the adult insects. At the same time, the withered branches can be cut off and burned. Red spider mites mainly harm leaves, and can be controlled by spraying 1800 times diluted 40% dimethoate emulsion.
