How to determine what fertilizer to use for your flowers

Plants lack calcium

When the plant lacks calcium, the edges of the leaves will turn yellow and wither, and become hooked. The roots will grow poorly, the root tips will turn brown, and the roots will rot and crack, or even be on the verge of dying.

Workaround

Calcium fertilizers (such as lime) can be added to the potting soil to improve plant growth.

Plants lack iron

When plants lack iron, the old leaves remain green, but the new leaves turn yellow, and the veins do not turn yellow. Later the leaves turned yellow-white and the veins gradually turned yellow. When plants are severely iron deficient, small spots will appear on the leaves, the leaves will dry up or even die.

Manganese deficiency in plants
