Common varieties of mint

Peppermint

The flower spikes of peppermint are purple, the leaves are relatively flat, the color of the leaves ranges from bright green to dark green, the reticular veins are sunken, the serrations on the leaf edges are deep and sharp, the average height of the plant is 30-90 cm, and it is a very common type of mint in daily life. The smell of peppermint is very obvious, with a fragrant and refreshing taste. It can be fried as a vegetable or served cold, but in Europe it is commonly used to make tea.

Apple Mint

The entire plant of apple mint is covered with hairs and the height of the plant is 60-90 cm. The leaves are round and this apple mint exudes the scent of apples, which is why it is called apple mint.

Green Mint

The flower spikes of green mint are white, with a very elegant and fresh smell, a light fragrance, and the leaf veins are very obvious. The plant height of this mint is 60-100 cm.

Peppermint

The flower spikes of Pleurotus eryngii are pink. This kind of mint is relatively short, with a plant height of 10-40 cm. Moreover, this kind of Pleurotus eryngii is not cold-resistant and is sensitive to cold.

Pineapple Mint
